Takeaway Lasagna Instructions
LASAGNA HEATING DIRECTIONS
FROZEN
Make sure the lasagna, sauce, and Parmigiano Cheese all go into your freezer until two days before bake time. The lasagna must be fully defrosted before baking in the oven.
1. Take the frozen lasagna, sauce, and Parmigiano out of the freezer and put them in the fridge for two full days before baking. The lasagna must be fully defrosted before baking in the oven. Once it is, proceed with the following instructions.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. The lasagna comes with a thin layer of tomato sauce on top, which is covered in foil. Keep the lasagna covered in foil and place it in the oven.
4. Bake for 45-60 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. The baking time varies depending on how cold the lasagna is before baking. After 30 minutes, check the temperature by inserting a thermometer in the center. NOTE: If you are using a convection oven, the lasagna will come to temperature much quicker. Your goal is 165 degrees in the center, regardless of cooking time.
5. If you are serving the lasagna right away, remove it from the oven and let it rest uncut for 15 minutes before portioning. If you are serving it later, reduce the oven temperature to 160 degrees and hold until needed.
6. Heat extra marinara on stove top just before lasagna is finished heating.
7. Plate portions and cover each with sauce, garnish with Parmigiano, serve, and enjoy.
